Jim Liaw

  • Jim Liaw is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in the Food & Beverages (F&B) industry.

    He has recently broadened his professional expertise by entering the property development sector. Jim Liaw, Co-Founder and the leader of business development strategies at Stellar, he is utilizing his extensive background in operations and strategic planning to drive growth and success within the property market. His seamless transition into property development showcases his versatility and ongoing influence across a range of industries.

    Beyond his operational acumen, Jim is also known for his strengths in marketing and corporate business strategy. His ability to analyze market trends, develop innovative marketing campaigns, and implement strategic initiatives has helped numerous businesses thrive in a competitive industry.

    Jim holds Master of Business Administration from University of Cambridge.

  • With over 20 years of industry experience, Keng Lee Lim, Co-Founder of Stellar, is a built-form specialist dedicated to exploring every on-site opportunity for each project. His architectural background, combined with extensive expertise in site acquisition, due diligence, and site feasibility, enables him to unlock the full potential of any site. With a deep understanding of the Western Australian market and a strong grasp of planning and thoughtful design, Keng has played a pivotal role in the successful design and delivery of every project.

    Keng Lee is a Registered Architect (#2193) after studying at Curtin University and holds a Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Applied Science.

  • Kit Cheak has over 15 years of experience across the private and public sectors, as well as NGOs worldwide, he brings a wealth of expertise to his roles. He also holds board positions in three companies based in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Malaysia.

    A seasoned strategist and advisor, Kit Cheak has provided valuable guidance in Mergers & Acquisitions, Governance, and Business Strategy across a range of industries, including renewables, property development, retail, fund management, tourism, corporate management, energy, and minerals. His work has contributed to projects with a combined contract value of $360 million.

    He has served as the ESG Director for Oriental Mining Pty Ltd since 2022, as well as for Blencowe Resources PLC.

    Kit Cheak holds Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) with triple Major in Politics & Government, Legal Practice and National Security from University of Canberra and Droit de propriété of ESG Global Australia.

  • Mark has been in the oil and gas industry for 35 years and 40 years in the electrical instrumentation field. His career began in construction and evolved into roles in maintenance and commissioning for mining, oil, gas facilities, and pipelines across Australia, Europe, Africa, and Asia. Having worked as a Project Manager for operators and on the client side, Mark has a deep understanding of both perspectives. His ability to excel in team environments or work independently has consistently made him a sought-after collaborator, with companies valuing his contribution to their success.

    Since 2004, Mark has been the owner of several businesses, managing teams of up to 250 people overseas and 150 people in Australia. His leadership style has been instrumental in driving growth and helping companies thrive, ultimately leading to one of his businesses being acquired by a major Australian engineering firm. Mark is passionate about business growth and expansion, and this drive remains at the core of his professional aspirations. With a keen eye for identifying talent, he believes in the power of surrounding himself with like-minded individuals to ensure continued success.

    Stellar has recently launched an eco-friendly solar-powered lighting brand named Sollar, which is currently being led by Mark.
